She has worked as the bilingual Nutrition Educator and Lactation Counselor for the WIC (Women, Infants & Children) Program in San Miguel & Ouray Counties for over 25 years. Amy’s passion for nutrition and wellness includes connecting local families with local food via the WIC Farmers Market Program, the Family Wellness Program and the Ridgway Community Garden. Amy is a mother of 3 lovely daughters, including twins. Her journey as a mother has both demanded and blessed her with opportunities to learn a holistic approach to the physical, mental and emotional needs of motherhood.
